🔧 Installation Methods

WordPress Admin Upload (Recommended)

Step 1: Access WordPress Admin

Login to your WordPress admin panel at yourdomain.com/wp-admin

Step 2: Navigate to Plugins

Go to PluginsAdd New in your WordPress dashboard

Step 3: Upload Plugin

Click "Upload Plugin" button at the top of the page

Step 4: Choose File

Select the content-platform-connector.zip file you downloaded

Step 5: Install & Activate

Click "Install Now" then "Activate Plugin"

Manual FTP Upload

Step 1: Extract Plugin

Extract the content-platform-connector.zip file on your computer

Step 2: Upload via FTP

Upload the content-platform-connector folder to:

/wp-content/plugins/content-platform-connector/

Step 3: Activate Plugin

Go to PluginsInstalled Plugins in WordPress admin and activate the plugin

Access Plugin Settings

After activation, navigate to SettingsContent Platform in your WordPress admin

Note: The plugin is ready to use immediately after activation. Basic configuration can be done through the Content Platform dashboard.

Register Your Site

  1. Open your Content Platform dashboard
  2. Go to WordPress Sites Management
  3. Click "Add New Site"
  4. Fill in your site details:
    • Site Name (e.g., "My Blog")
    • Site URL (e.g., "https://yourdomain.com")
    • Category (optional)
    • Description (optional)
  5. Click "Save"

Test Connection

Verify everything is working correctly:

  1. In the Content Platform dashboard, find your site in the list
  2. Click the "Test" button
  3. Verify the connection shows "Connected"
